Welcome to the Sevier County Junior Master Gardener Clubs
The Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program
of the University Cooperative Extension network.
JMG engages children in novel, "hands-on" group and individual learning experiences
that promote a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment,
and cultivate the mind.
Affiliated with the Sevier County Area Master Gardeners Association
and the 4-H, we currently have three clubs to teach children and youth
about the fun of gardening.
Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, we meet at the Sevier Co. Extension Office, unless otherwise announced.
Check our Calendar page for club locations for each meeting and
Check the Announcements page for other activities.
The "Buds" Club is for grades 3-5
The "Leaf & Vine" Club is for 6th-8th graders
and the only one in the U.S. for H.S. - the Photosynthesizers for 9th - 12th!
NOTE: We will need more High School students to offer this club this year. IF you are interested in joining the Photosynthesizers, grades 9-12, please email us at jmgsevierco@gmail.com.
PLEASE CHECK EACH OF THEIR PAGE LINKS ABOVE FOR UPDATED INFO ON MEETING LOCATIONS AND DATES.
